The 19th

This shall be the last of my birthday posts ;) I turned 25 years old on February 19th, 2013. My husband, Kevin, and dad were out of town at the MAGIC Trade Show in Las Vegas. That left my mom and I to celebrate by ourselves – and my brothers when they were out of school. I woke up, went to group, and then headed over to my mom’s to watch The Bachelor and elliptical it up. Mid workout, Ryder had a lovely blow out and my mom and I started cleaning him and then my mom was all, “Go back to the elliptical because if you are gone longer than 5 minutes it stops your session.” So I do, and then my mom doesn’t put Ryder in his backup outfit but he comes out in yellow jeans and a cute grey shirt. I was so confused at first. Kelsi and her picked it out at Zara in Portugal. I LOVE the fit of the jeans and now I wish I could buy all Zara pants for him because the waist is adjustable and the length is great. Basically, they fit really good and fit his butt good too haha. Hopefully that isn’t weird. Anyways, I love the outfit and I have a hard time not putting him in yellow pants every day! Afterwards we had a lovely lunch at Panera and I had my favorite Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich with Broccoli Cheddar Soup. Afterwards we quickly hit up The Children’s Place where I scored some great stuff for Ryder. We hung out for the afternoon and for dinner my mom, Zach, and Hunter all ate at Noodles. It was a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable day. I still can’t believe I am 25. I remember turning 20 and being like, well, at least I’m not 25, then that is old. And so whenever I turned 21, 22, 23…I was like well, I’m not 25 because then that is halfway to 30…but whelp, I am there and I guess it is okay. All in all, I had a great birthday and great pre-birthday shenanigans with Kevin and Ryder and my family!

Next up: Kansas City February Trip and then I should be caught up until March! We are in the process of remodeling our entire main level (paint, flooring, kitchen cabinets, all kitchen appliances, backsplash, sink, faucet, butcher block, and that may be it….) so I may be a little slow at updating the blog but I will soon! Or I may be really fast since Ryder and I moved out of the house on Friday…?!) We are excited for the final results!
