Before I tell you all my fabulous resolutions have you noticed my new blog layout? Well it is brand NEW thanks to the wonderful Elisabeth from Thimbles + Things! Click around, check it out, there are some cool new things!
Now for the resolutions...or something like that.
I'm not going to be hardcore and say I am GOING to have to do these, thus the 'something like that', but I am going to say that I would like to do them. Lets be real, who really does them?
If you do, you're a freak, in a good way.
And sometimes life gets in the way and bam, you've slipped up...so you got to go with the flow you know?
Here are some new years resolutions for this 2012 year...
// Get/be pregnant
// Read the scriptures in the morning daily while eating breakfast. That worked for me a long time but I wonder if there is another time I can study them better and for longer.
// Say my personal prayers always.
// Read more church/spiritual books.
// Read some really really good books. I am just finishing Mockingjay from The Hunger Games trilogy and man, I need to read more books like that. Just really good books, ya know? That suck you in and make you think about the characters often...
// Comment on my real friends blogs more often like I used to.
Lets be real when you follow so many blogs (now so) it is impossible to keep up on everyone.
// Go on walks more often with Katinka and Kevin when he can.
// Cook 1 new experimental meal a week and hopefully learn to love cooking?
// Workout at least 4 times a week. It all went downhill when we moved into our new house. Then we went on a vacation over Thanksgiving and Christmas break and when we had spare time we worked on unpacking/organizing our stuff/house... I need to get back into the groove. I miss Zumba, Yoga, Kickboxing, everything.
// Listen to lots of church music on Sunday.
// Work on watching/tracking our money more so we don't go over budget. This also includes cooking healthy cheaper meals...anyone got any recommendations?
// Write Kelsi on her mission 1x every 2 weeks, maybe 1x a week if I am on top of things.
// Write in a journal frequently. Just a little bit at least!
// Be more well balanced in all that I do and how I spend my time.
Well, I know there a ton more but those are the ones I thought of when I wrote this :)
