Disease Update!

Good news!
As of today it doesn't seem that I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)!
(More on the disease here)
According to my X-Rays, my sacroiliac joints look good. So I will just continue on my way doing what I've always been doing, living. If I get any more symptoms I will need to visit the rheumatologist again.
The downside to this disease (if I do have it) is that it is very hard to diagnose. I've had a lot, if not most of the symptoms of it, so if I get X-Rays in a year or two or five it may show up. So you just never know with this disease.
But I am SO happy and blessed that when I called in that things are good thus far!

I do have back pain (had it all summer) so...
if you have any advice on minimizing back pain let me know!

I know there are stretches, doing yoga/exercising, and massages
but if you have any other ideas let me know!
THANKS again for all of your kind comments and emails! I feel so loved! And I'm so surprised how many of you had diseases and could relate. If I ever do have this disease it is nothing compared to what some of you are dealing with. I hope the best to all you great readers!

  3. Congratulations!!!! Is that the right phrase to use?? Um... it feels wrong... BUT I'm so happy that the x-rays didn't show the disease!! Sorry that you still have backpain. My mum uses those heat packs on her back. The type that are made out of wheat grains and you stick them in the microwave? She likes those because they come in a long shape so you can wrap it around your back. I hope you know what I'm talking about!
