As of today it doesn't seem that I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)!
(More on the disease here)
According to my X-Rays, my sacroiliac joints look good. So I will just continue on my way doing what I've always been doing, living. If I get any more symptoms I will need to visit the rheumatologist again.
The downside to this disease (if I do have it) is that it is very hard to diagnose. I've had a lot, if not most of the symptoms of it, so if I get X-Rays in a year or two or five it may show up. So you just never know with this disease.
But I am SO happy and blessed that when I called in that things are good thus far!
I do have back pain (had it all summer) so...
if you have any advice on minimizing back pain let me know!
I know there are stretches, doing yoga/exercising, and massages
but if you have any other ideas let me know!
THANKS again for all of your kind comments and emails! I feel so loved! And I'm so surprised how many of you had diseases and could relate. If I ever do have this disease it is nothing compared to what some of you are dealing with. I hope the best to all you great readers!
