About Us

I'm Ashley and I'm the writer.
Kevin and I just barely graduated from BYU's Marriott School of Management in April of 2011. Kevin graduated in Entrepreneurship and I graduated in Marketing. We just moved to my hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado!

I am the oldest child; I have 1 sister (on a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil) and 3 brothers. I was born in Provo, UT; lived in San Diego, CA; Woodbury, MN; and grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. My minor at BYU was World Dance (Folk dance). Some things I love include: tennis, snowboarding, reading, traveling, dance, shopping (big one), taking pictures, attempting to speak in German, working out, kickboxing, Zumba, hanging out with family and friends, and watching reality TV and movies.

My husband is Kevin.
Kevin is the middle child of his family; he has two older sisters and 1 younger brother and sister. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  He served a two-year mission for the church in Milan, Italy and is fluent in Italian. He now makes incredible authentic Italian cuisine! He is such an entrepreneur and is constantly thinking of new ideas and companies to start! He is working at Zephyr Graf-x!

Kevin loves Baseball. He played 4 years for BYU as a pitcher and a 3rd baseman. Last year, 2010, he had an incredible ERA and win-loss (9-2) record and was 2nd Team All Mountain West Conference. Some things he loves are: snowboarding, boating, cliff jumping, hunting, camping, golfing, basketball, racquetball, tennis, football, and meee.. He is obsessed with ESPN, bracketology, March Madness, and anything sports.

Our pup is Katinka!
She is an energetic long-haired chihuahua beauty!

Why I Blog?
I started this blog in the summer of 2007 to document our new life together (a year late as we were married August of 2008).  I think it is very important to keep some kind of history and for me a blog is easier than a journal. You will find anything and everything from random happenings to Katinka stories to vacations and more.  I hope you find our blog interesting and maybe even entertaining!
